Kai  came  to  us  after  Christmas  break. His  parents  were  just  not  feeling  like  he  was  in  the  right  fit  in  the  school  that  he  was  in,  and  so  they  thought,  why  not  try  Novatio?  It's  different.  It's  a different  kind  of  model.  Kids  get  to  work  at  their  own  pace.  They  are  given  exactly  the  kind  of  education  that  they  need  where  they're  at.  And  then,  of  course,  we  have  this  component  in  the afternoons  where  we  do  these  really  awesome  clubs  with  them. And  I  love  that  the  social  component  is  still  there  because  I  know  parents  can  be  hesitant  about  removing  that  from  their children's  childhood.

So  how  is  AI  being  integrated? So  our  AI  is  actually  for  the  academic  piece  working  in  the  background.  So  it  is  what's  looking  at  how  the  kids  are  performing  and  creating that  custom  education just  for  them.  We  actually don't allow  our  students  to  access  AI  during  their  academic  time.  So  they  have  no  access  to  any  chatbots  or  anything  like  that  to  get  help  with their  work.  We  want  the work  to  be  theirs  and  theirs alone. So  what  sort  of  challenges  maybe  do  students  face  that  you  and  other  staff  are  able  to  help  them  overcome?  Just  like  any  other school,  they're  gonna  get stuck  on  a  lesson.  They're  not  gonna understand  a  concept.  They're  gonna  have  questions  about  the  work  that  they're  doing,  and  we  have  lots  of  videos  that  they watch.  Then  we  also  have teachers  that  they're  live  with  the  whole time  that  they're  with  us,  and  we  have  one  on  one  academic  coaches  that  they  get  to  book  tutoring  with  as  well.  So  there's  a a  amplitude  of  support.

One  of  the  things  that  we  really  like  is  that  we  do  MAP  testing  to  show  growth,  not  only  for  the  student  over  time,  but  also  compared  to  their  peers  nationally.  One  of the promises  that  we make in  Novatio  is  that  a  student  is  going to learn  2x  more  than  a  traditional  kiddo  in  a  traditional  school.  And  we  just  did  that  testing  at  the  end  of  January. We're  getting  ready to  do  it  again  next year and  our  students  scored  four  point  five  times  more  learning  than  a  traditional  student,  and  Kai  is  one  of  those  kiddos.
