At Novatio, we provide individualized support that helps students who learn differently access the curriculum and make real progress. Our Special Education Support program coordinates services for students with identified learning differences, disabilities, and academic support needs.

A quick note on what we are: Novatio offers learning support, not clinical or therapeutic services. The right supports depend on your child's individual needs, so the best next step is a short call. Talk to our admissions team about your child's specific scenario.

What's included

Special education support is an additional annual program cost on top of tuition. We'll go through the details and your funding options on your call.

Small-group executive function sessions and organizational coaching for planning, time management, study skills, and self-advocacy, plus targeted academic support including reading help based on your child's needs.

"Novatio has been a great success for my autistic 5th grader. She entered in October at lower academic levels and is now finishing most subjects ahead of where she started. For our IEP family, additional reading support and general instructional assistance is present."

Frequently asked questions

Do you create my child's IEP or 504 plan?
No. Your child's IEP or 504 plan is created and held outside Novatio. We review the plan you already have and build your child's learning supports around it.
Is dyslexia intervention part of the standard program?
One-on-one dyslexia intervention is a specialist-led service available based on your child's needs. Students in dyslexia intervention also receive our full learning-support services. We'll talk through what makes sense on your call.
What if my child needs a service you don't provide?
Some services, like speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling, are handled by outside providers. Tell us about your child on a call and we'll be honest about whether we're the right fit.
Which grades do you support?
Novatio is a private, virtual, AI-driven, teacher-guided school for grades 4 to 8.
How is the program funded, and what does it cost?
Special education support has an additional annual program fee. Many Arizona families use ESA funds toward it. We'll walk through the specifics and your funding options on your call.
